Corinne Feller Memorial Scholarship Basketball Tournament

Hudson Valley girls’ basketball teams will remember one of their own as they take part in the 19th annual Corinne Feller Memorial Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, November 28 and Friday, November 30, 2018 at Valley Central High School in Montgomery, New York. Participating teams include Valley Central, Burke Catholic, Marlboro, and Wallkill. Corinne’s niece, point guard Madeline Feller, is among Valley Central’s players this year.

At 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Marlboro will play Wallkill. Valley Central will take on Burke Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The consolation game will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday followed by the Championship game at 7:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Montgomery Food Pantry. Recommended donation is $3 for adults, $2 for students or senior citizens.

All proceeds will benefit the Corinne Feller Memorial Scholarship Fund, a component fund of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, www.cfosny.org. To date, $54,000 in scholarships has been awarded to outstanding graduating seniors at Valley Central.
